About Annelise

Transforming lives through fundraising and training

Annelise started her career as a social worker, but after some additional studies, soon spread her wings to focus on the most critical aspect of any charity organisation: Fundraising!

She initiated and owned both the Casual Day/Loslit Dag campaign and its trademarks, as well as National Tekkie Tax Day, and raised more than R200 million for her beneficiaries through these campaigns over a 25-year period.

In 2016, she scaled down to focus on training and empowering people working in the NGO sector.

With her heart rooted in the charity sector her entire life, she is often seen as a keynote speaker at charity events, delivering fundraising training in front of large audiences, or conducting a fundraising and marketing audit for a charity organisation.

On a personal note:

She will spend her last cent on travelling and has been to 37 countries, including Antarctica.

She loves to cook and entertain guests!

She is an enthusiastic motorcycle rider and (after her husband and son), her BMW 700 GS is the great love of her life.

She speaks cat fluently…
